Erasmus University College Brussels (Erasmushogeschool Brussel) is named after the great humanistic philosopher and author, Desiderius Erasmus, who lived for a few years in Brussels. The Campus in Jette is located in an idyllic green area of Brussels. The proximity to 'het Koning Boudewijnpark', 'Laarbeekbos' and 'Poelbos' provides a serene and pleasant environment to live and study. Students in Jette benefit greatly from the proximity of the many public parks and forests and the National Botanic Garden of Belgium. The campus in Jette represents the Erasmus University College and the Vrije Universiteit Brussel (VUB), both partners in the University Association Brussels.
